Quality Engineering Lead - Selenium

As a Quality Engineering Lead, a typical day involves guiding a team of quality engineers by coordinating multi-disciplinary planning and integrating various ecosystem components to enhance delivery speed and ensure high-quality standards throughout the application lifecycle. This role requires overseeing the development and implementation of comprehensive testing strategies that align with business and functional requirements. The day also includes defining and monitoring key performance indicators to evaluate testing effectiveness, managing test execution, and facilitating defect resolution to maintain product excellence and support continuous improvement initiatives. Roles & Responsibilities: Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.

• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Lead the development and implementation of testing strategies that align with project goals and quality standards.
• Foster a collaborative environment that encourages knowledge sharing and continuous learning within the team.
• Monitor and analyze testing metrics to identify areas for process improvement and ensure timely delivery.
• Support junior team members by providing guidance and facilitating their professional growth. Minimum 7 years of proven experience in manual and automation testing Excellent knowledge of QA Test Automation tools such as Playwright (Preferable), Selenium, API Automation Excellent knowledge of languages Python(Preferable), Java Good Analytical and Critical Thinking for Functional Testing Good knowledge on the use of AI Agents, MCP for Test Automation Fair knowledge of DevOps tools like Gitlab, Cloud concepts Should be open and experienced on Shift left concepts and tasks Excellent understanding of database concepts Excellent knowledge of Agile methodologies Experienced in the full project life-cycle experience in a Quality Assurance & Test capacity Proven track record of requirements analysis and documentation Ability to work under challenging circumstances without sacrificing quality or attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent problem solving skills

Istqb/ Iseb

Certified (Foundation Level) or equivalent Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships within and outside the immediate team Ability to provide a reliable and extensible QA approach with a key focus on automated and technical testing Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Selenium.
• Strong understanding of automated testing frameworks and their integration within continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines.
• Experience in designing and executing comprehensive test plans and test cases to validate software functionality and performance.
• Ability to analyze complex systems and troubleshoot issues effectively to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Familiarity with defect tracking tools and processes to manage and resolve software defects efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Additional Information:
• The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Selenium.
