Senior Investment Operations Analyst, Private Markets

• Support the end-to-end operational lifecycle of private market investments, including capital calls, distributions, investment fundings, expense payments, reimbursements, and other cash movements such as tax payments, management fees, and interest payments.
• Request, validate, and coordinate complex investment and cash transactions, ensuring appropriate supporting documentation, approvals, and compliance with established operational controls.
• Manage and monitor fund and investment cash activity, including bank account balances, incoming and outgoing wires, internal transfers, and deal fundings. This includes monitoring LP/GP capital call receipts and processing distributions across various bank accounts.
• Coordinate wire activity and payment processing, including preparation of wire directives, verification of payment instructions, and adherence to segregation-of-duties and approval controls.
• Perform portfolio, cash, and transaction reconciliations and independently lead timely investigation and resolution of operational breaks, discrepancies, and transaction issues with internal teams, custodians, administrators, banks, and other counterparties, often under tight deadlines.
• Coordinate corporate action elections with portfolio managers and custodian banks, ensuring selections and instructions are communicated and processed accurately and within required deadlines.
• Support banking and liquidity activities, including account administration, cash monitoring, banking platform access, and coordination with custodians and banking partners.
• Coordinate operational activities related to fund credit facilities and letters of credit, including funding requirements, fees, compliance documentation, and related reporting. Monitor fund liquidity and assess upcoming funding requirements to determine whether activities can be funded with available cash or require borrowing under the applicable credit facility.
• Partner closely with investment teams, fund administrators, custodians, Treasury, Finance, Infrastructure Operations, and front office teams to support the timely and accurate execution of investment activities.
• Monitor operational risks and maintain a strong control environment, including segregation of duties, bank portal entitlements, transaction approvals, documentation standards, and audit and compliance support.
• Lead or participate in process improvements, automation, system enhancements, and implementation of new operational workflows to increase efficiency, strengthen controls, and reduce operational risk.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance operating procedures, controls, and process documentation across Private Markets Investment Operations, including documentation for new and evolving processes.
• Serve as a subject matter resource and escalation point, providing guidance and cross-training to team members and supporting consistent application of operational processes and controls. Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in investment operations, fund administration, investment accounting, portfolio reporting, or alternative investment operations.
• Experience supporting Private Equity, Private Credit, Infrastructure, Real Estate, or other private market investment strategies preferred.
• Strong understanding of capital calls, distributions, investment accounting, partnership structures, and investment lifecycle events.
• Experience working with investment managers, custodians, fund administrators, and finance teams.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with investment management, accounting, or reporting systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Professional designations such as CFA, CAIA, CPA, CSC, or progress toward completion are considered an asset. When you join our team:

Referenced Salary Location Boston, Massachusetts Working Arrangement Hybrid Salary range is expected to be between $73,350.00 USD - $122,250.00 USD Employees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance.
