At MGM Resorts, we seek individuals like YOU to create unique and show-stopping experiences for our guests. THE JOB: As an On Call Cage Cashier, you are an essential part of the guest experience. By processing a variety of financial transactions with accuracy, professionalism, and a welcoming attitude, you help create lasting memories that guests take with them beyond their stay with us. Through fast and efficient service in a high-paced environment, and by supporting both internal and external guests, you play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our cage services.
The Starting
RATE: $18.00 plus tips THE DAY-TO-DAY:
- Perform a variety of frontline transactions, including chip bank, poker, cage credit, employee bank/window transactions, and the cashing of all check types for guests, within specified guidelines
- Redeem chips, tokens, TITO (ticket in/ticket out), Race and Sports tickets, and all acceptable types of foreign currency for casino guests
- Conduct Marker and Front Money transactions on patron accounts
- Assist Casino Guests by providing general information as needed
- Perform functions in a marker/IOU bank as well as High Limit cage
- Service patron Kiosk/TRU units as needed, along with employee Recycler/JetSafe units
- Secure and document all recordable transactions made with company assets
- Complete electronic multiple transaction logs accurately, complete transaction logs manually, as necessary
- Issue or surrender safety deposit boxes
The Ideal
CANDIDATE:
- Must be 21 years or older
- 1+ years of high-volume cash handling experience required
