Warehouse Order Selector

Description Christ Panos Foods is looking for Warehouse Order Selectors to join our team. In this role, you’ll play an important part in making sure our customers receive the correct products, accurately selected and prepared for delivery. This is a fast-paced physically active warehouse position. Selectors spend their shifts on their feet, pulling cases of product, building pallets, and preparing customer orders for delivery. Position Details Schedule: Sunday – Friday 4:00pm to finish Compensation: $24.00/hour during training period Training Period: Approximately 3 to 6 months After successfully completing the training period, employees transition to our piece-rate compensation structure, where earnings are based on productivity. Job Duties: · Accurately select customer orders from warehouse inventory · Read product labels and verify items, quantities, and product codes · Repeatedly lift, carry, push, and pull cases of food products while building customer orders · Build stable and organized pallets for delivery · Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and other material handling equipment as needed · Stage completed orders safely and efficiently for loading onto delivery trucks · Inspect product for accuracy, quality and damage · Report damaged products or other issues to a supervisor · Follow all food safety, sanitation, and warehouse safety procedures · Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment · Perform other warehouse duties as assigned as needed What We’re Looking For · Reliable attendance and strong work ethic · Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment · Ability to accurately read and match product labels · Ability to work independently while also being a strong team member · Previous warehouse, order selecting, grocery, food distribution or material handling experience is preferred · Previous forklift or pallet jack experience is a plus · Willingness to learn our warehouse processes and food safety requirements Benefits · Medical, dental, and vision insurance · Company Paid Life Insurance · Short- and Long-term disability coverage · 401(k) with company match and profit sharing · Paid time off · Paid Holidays · Opportunities for growth within our warehouse and operations teams Requirements Physical Requirements This is a physically demanding warehouse position. Candidates must be comfortable with: · Repeatedly lifting and handling 50lbs+ throughout the shift · Occasionally handling heavier cases or products · Standing and walking for extended periods · Frequent bending, reaching, twisting, pushing and pulling · Building and moving loaded pallets · Working in dry, refrigerated, and freezer environments · Safely operating around warehouse equipment and moving product
