Business Development Manager (m/w/d)

As Business Development Manager (m/f/d) at FlixTrain , you will take full ownership of high-impact projects and partnerships that shape the future of our customer experience. Driven by a hands-on mindset and a genuine passion for operational excellence, you will identify opportunities, build solutions from the ground up, and continuously push our partners to raise the bar. From managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects to maintaining strong day-to-day partner relationships, you will be the driving force behind seamless, reliable on-board experiences across our growing fleet. About the Role

• Support in defining and executing our strategy to become the largest private and most loved provider of long-distance rail transport
• Drive key strategic projects that enhance the customer experience on board our trains
• Collaborate with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, including production, partner management, and network and business planning
• Establish project management structures, including project timelines and steering formats
• Establish reporting formats (incl. KPI tracking) and prepare presentations for senior management
• You will play an essential role in transforming the transport industry, which will contribute to the long-term success of the company About You
• Completed degree in business administration, business & logistics, or a related field
• At least 3 years of professional experience in operations consulting or management of cross-functional projects in collaboration with several external partners, preferably in the railway industry
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong negotiation, communication and presentation skills (incl. PowerPoint)
• A track record of successfully implementing complex projects
• Experience collaborating with internal and external stakeholders
• Self-motivated and reliable, with the drive to continuously improve existing structures
• Full working proficiency in both English and German (both at min. C1 level) What We Offer
