Competence center engineer Description

  • Job Summary
  • This role is to become part of the customer support organization in EMEA, as Competence Center engineer, on this role the candidate will be responsible for understanding complex technical situations at customer site and to identify the required technical solutions, occasionally leading in the implementation of detailed technical solution for enterprise-level end-customers. The role requires deep support and collaboration mindset to satisfy clients' needs, using extensive knowledge across a broad spectrum of the organization's technology. The role provides leadership in integration activities and planning for complex system environments. The role also contributes to organization’s profitability by improving customers uptime, productivity and customer engagment with our technology and products. Responsibilities
  • Responsible for understanding complex technical situations at customer site and to identify the required technical solutions
  • Implements either a portion or the entirety of the technical solution in alignment with technical department.
  • Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge across a wide spectrum of organization’s technology to develop detailed action plans to resolve customer situations.
  • Offers technical support and expertise in applying technology to defined business segments, providing insights into solution and integration opportunities for these segments.
  • Takes on a leadership role in communicates across organization and support teams the technical knowledge (shifh left)
  • Contributes to knowledge tools and communities, ensuring documentation and sharing of project insights, and encourages participation and contributions from others in professional communities.
  • Engages in pre-sales activities and collaborates with sales/principals to support the selling process.
  • Creates internally published materials, such as knowledge briefs and service delivery kit components, and ensures adherence to relevant certification and professional standards.
  • Solves difficult and complex problems with a fresh perspective, demonstrating good judgment in selecting creative solutions and managing projects independently.
  • Leads moderate to high complexity projects, delivering professionally written reports, and supports the realization of operational and strategic plans. Education & Experience Recommended
  • Four-year or Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
  • Typically has 1-3 years of work experience, preferably in implementation consultancy, customer support, focused technology areas, or a related field or an advanced degree with 2-3 years of work experience. Preferred Certifications NA Knowledge & Skills
  • Advanced Technical Troubleshooting & Root Cause Analysis
  • Additive Manufacturing Process Expertise (DfAM + Producción)
  • Technical Communication & Knowledge Transfer
  • Use of Artificial Intelligence, big data and knowledge on Python (Programming Language) will be valuated.
  • Fluid in English and 1-2 other languages spoken in Europe. Cross-Org Skills
