• You will be responsible for the formulation and revision of plans, programs, policies, and procedures for the execution of special training initiatives.
• You will be responsible for the management, structure, and development of the selection criteria and the recruitment and selection process for assigned programs.
• You will perform individual and collective tasks analysis, design, and establishment; conducts all follow-on training phases.
• You will ensure coordination of requirements, resources, and schedules as well as proper integration of training programs.
• You will formulate long-range plans and strategies to ensure the training requirements for current and developing programs are met. Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Directing the full lifecycle of command technical capabilities, including research, testing, procurement, and implementation; forecasting multi-year program personnel and/or material requirements; allocating financial resources to secure long-term organizational objectives. Desired Skills:
• Special Operations Expertise: The candidate must possess deep, specialized knowledge of Special Operations tactics, techniques, and procedures to design, manage, and execute advanced training programs.
• Program Evaluation & Analytics: The role requires proven expertise in training methodologies, program evaluation, and analytical techniques to identify deficiencies and optimize resources.
• Regulatory Compliance: The individual must have a thorough understanding of USSOCOM and Department of the Navy (DoN) policies, particularly those governing high-risk training and safety standards.
• Financial & Contract Stewardship: The candidate must possess practical experience in financial management, including budget monitoring, program cost tracking, and contract performance oversight.
• Leadership & Communication: The position demands strong communication skills to brief leadership, alongside a solid working knowledge of civilian personnel management and team supervision.
