Primary Location: 9700 Wade Boulevard, Frisco, Texas, 75035 We are searching for candidates that meet the required qualifications and experience and are able to perform the essential duties and responsibilities. Job Summary: Support the daily operations of the esports program by assisting with team practices, competition logistics, and equipment management. Help maintain gaming systems, support broadcast and streaming activities, and ensure players have a safe, organized, and competitive environment. Collaborate with coaches and staff to promote positive team culture, uphold program standards, and enhance the overall student esports experience. Required Qualifications: Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Support the administrative, logistical, and operational functions of an esports team or organization.
- Coordinate schedules, manage communication, assist with event setup and travel, and maintain equipment. Depending on circumstances, duties may also involve social media management, content creation, player development, and scouting.
- Manage communications between players, coaches, and staff.
- Attend and promote the Collin College eSports Program on Welcome Days and other recruiting events.
- Assist with the formation and maintenance of relationships with Collegiate and Business Institutions (i.e, video game, eSports companies, etc.).
- Maintain, clean, and organize gaming equipment (e.g., PCs, keyboards, mice).
- Set up gaming stations to exact specifications before events.
- Perform basic maintenance and check for necessary updates or software.
- Assist with cable management and general upkeep of facilities.
- Monitor the uses and metrics associated with the eSports Arena.
- Assist with the oversight of behavior within esports facilities to ensure compliance with all space, program, and college regulations.
- Assist the production team with live streams and broadcasts. Operate broadcasting and production systems as needed.
- Support the creation of original content, such as packages and docuseries. Manage and update social media accounts, coordinate with external media providers, if necessary.
- Assist with player recruitment and skill development.
- Coordinate with the Student-Athlete Success Coach and program to ensure student success factors. · Help balance academics and extracurricular activities for student-athletes.
- Assist with game strategy and VOD (video-on-demand) analysis. Mentor players and promote a positive and inclusive team culture.
- Ensure adherence to all club or organization policies and regulations. Supplemental Functions

- Esports and Gaming knowledge with familiarity with esports ecosystems
- Knowledge of major esports titles (e.g., League of Legends, Overwatch, Rocket League, Valorant) and their competitive formats
- Basic understanding of online gaming platforms (Steam, Battle.net, Epic Games, Riot Client)
- Awareness of esports industry trends, player conduct expectations, and competitive integrity standards
- Basic knowledge of PC hardware, gaming peripherals, and performance optimization.
- Familiarity with console systems (PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch) if applicable
- Awareness of esports production solutions: capture cards, mixers, webcams, microphones, lighting
- Knowledge of streaming platforms (Twitch, YouTube Gaming) and broadcasting software (OBS, Streamlabs, vMix)
- Understanding of scheduling software and roster management tools
- Knowledge of student engagement strategies and event/program planning
- Familiarity with tournament rules, eligibility guidelines, and reporting procedures for leagues such as PlayVS
- Basic streaming and broadcast production skills (scene setup, audio balancing, monitoring live streams)
- Strong verbal and written communication with players, coaches, and campus stakeholders
- Skill in conflict management and supporting team cohesion
- Skill in documentation and reporting (match results, attendance, equipment logs)
- Event organization skills, including tournaments, team meetings, and community engagement
- Time-management skills to balance multiple tasks during practices and events
- Basic skill in ensuring equipment is safely used and stored
- Understanding of digital safety, account security, and privacy considerations
- Ability to work evenings or weekends based on competition schedules
- Ability to set up and maintain gaming PCs, consoles, and peripherals (Non-IT level maintenance)
- Ability to provide clear instructions and maintain a professional demeanor
- Ability to work in dynamic environments and stay calm during live matches and high-stress situations
- Ability to adapt to new game patches, meta changes, and evolving team needs
- Ability to work independently without constant supervision
- Ability to learn new tools, games, and technologies quickly Physical Demands, Working Conditions and Physical Effort Light Work
- Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly having to move objects. Office environment. Occasional physical effort required. Requirements Associate degree and two (2) year's experience in record keeping
