Field Computer Specialist

Location: 32 W Ajo Way, Tucson, Arizona 85713 United States of America Field Computer Technician Position Summary The Field Computer Technician installs, inspects, troubleshoots, and maintains IT, network, POS, telecommunications, security, and access-control systems across company locations. This role ensures technology and security systems remain operational, properly configured, and compliant with company standards. Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and maintain computers, POS systems, printers, scanners, and peripherals.
• Inspect and test network equipment, Wi-Fi connectivity, cabling, internet performance, and VLAN configuration.
• Install, configure, and support Windows-based systems and company software applications.
• Test and maintain alarm, access-control, surveillance, intercom, and security systems.
• Verify operation of storage-access systems, gates, keypads, door controls, and related equipment.
• Inspect and support CCTV systems, video recorders, and remote monitoring capabilities.
• Maintain technology and security systems in UBOX and self-storage facilities.
• Perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, and equipment testing.
• Document findings, corrective actions, and issues requiring escalation.
• Travel between locations and work independently while providing professional support to facility personnel. Required Qualifications
• Experience troubleshooting computers, networks, and electronic equipment.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP networking, Wi-Fi, Ethernet cabling, VLANs, and IP addressing.
• Experience supporting Windows systems, hardware, software, printers, and POS equipment.
• Basic understanding of security, alarm, access-control, surveillance, and intercom systems.
• Strong problem-solving, documentation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel regularly. Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with enterprise networking equipment and VLAN troubleshooting.
• Experience with POS, CCTV, alarm, and access-control systems.
• Experience installing and terminating Ethernet cabling.
• Experience in field service or multi-site IT support environments. Physical Requirements
• Travel frequently between assigned locations.
• Work indoors and outdoors around computer, network, and security equipment.
• Use hand tools and basic electronic testing equipment.
