Summary This position is located at Defense Finance & Accounting Services (DFAS), Kleber Kaserne-Kaiserslautern Germany. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid. Duties
- Serves as management analyst providing advisory evaluation and liaison services for NAF Accounting between DFAS NFS, USAG?s and IMCOM Europe Finance/Accounting activities.
- Monitors problems, develops solutions and makes recommendations to ensure optimum performance between DFAS and customers.
- Gathers pertinent data by: interviewing personnel, researching records, reviewing reports, financial statements, regulations and directives.
- Coordinates corrective measures with DFAS, fund managers and vendors.
- Develops and conducts training for USAG managers relating to all aspects of Great Plains, Daily Activity Report submission, accounting document submission and requirements for vendor payments. A qualified candidate must possess the following: Knowledge of Nonappropriated Fund accounting and program principles. Knowledge of computers to include software such as electronic spreadsheets, data base programs and graphics. Skill in gathering and analyzing facts and devising solutions to assigned problems.
