• Prior D2C or e-commerce background — you already understand the complexity of order-to-delivery systems, multi-node fulfilment, and the operational quirks of a high-velocity consumer business, so you're not learning the domain from scratch
• A sharp analytical mind with genuine curiosity about how logistics networks, warehouses, and support operations actually work end to end
• Strong quantitative comfort — you can model fulfilment and logistics allocation, inventory positioning, vendor performance, and RTO/COD risk with real rigour
• A builder's instinct — you don't stop at a dashboard; you want to prototype the algorithmic product (an allocation engine, a fraud score, a routing rule) that fixes the problem programmatically
• An AI-first workflow — you use LLMs and vibe coding tools to build working prototypes, not just slides
• Comfort operating across multiple functions at once — warehouse, logistics, customer support, production, and procurement all draw on your intelligence layer
• High ownership through to closure — you don't stop at 'I shared the analysis'; you track whether the fix actually moved the metric

• Are looking to run day-to-day warehouse or logistics operations — this is an intelligence and analytics role that informs ops, not an ops role itself
• Need a long ramp time — we expect you to get conversant across WH, logistics, CS, production, and procurement context quickly

• D2C / E-commerce Background: hands-on experience in a D2C, quick-commerce, or high-velocity consumer business — this is non-negotiable, since it's what lets you understand the complexity of our systems from day one
• Supply Chain & Logistics Analytics: reasoning about how orders should be allocated across fulfilment and logistics partners, and how a fulfilment network should evolve as the business scales
• COD & RTO Risk Analysis: analysing order and delivery patterns to flag fraud and RTO risk
• Data Modelling & SQL: comfortable querying and modelling on a warehouse (Redshift or similar) to build data cuts for multiple functions
• Algorithmic Product Thinking: able to scope and prototype rule-based or lightweight algorithmic tools that automate a decision (allocation, routing, cancellation prediction) rather than just reporting on it
• Customer Support Ops Analytics: building scorecards for support quality/efficiency and identifying automation opportunities, including voice agent/IVR use cases
• Vendor Performance Analytics: analysing vendor-level data (fill rate, quality, lead time, cost) to help procurement decide when to de-risk away from a vendor or push for more utilization from one
• Structured Project & Impact Tracking: taking a finding from problem statement and baseline through to a tracked project with a target KPI, and validating after the fact whether it actually moved the number
• Analytics Tools: Excel/Google Sheets for modelling and a BI tool (Metabase/Power BI) for reporting
• AI-Assisted Building: using LLMs and vibe coding tools to prototype logistics and CS intelligence tools quickly Good to Have
• Python for scripting data pulls, automations, or lightweight algorithmic prototypes
• Prior exposure to COD/RTO fraud protection systems
• Familiarity with WMS/OMS platforms or courier aggregators
• Exposure to voice agent/IVR or CS automation platforms
• Basic optimization or linear-programming concepts for allocation/inventory problems What will you do? Fulfilment & Logistics Allocation Intelligence
• Build data-driven logic for how orders should be allocated across fulfilment locations and courier partners
• Assess how the fulfilment network should evolve as order volumes and geographies grow, and where new locations would help
• This kind of business case — going from a raw operational question to a data-backed algorithm that runs the decision — is representative of the business cases and product algorithms you'll own end to end in this role Inventory Optimization
• Build models to project stock requirements at the fulfilment-location level across the network
• Minimize stockouts and overstock by improving how inventory is positioned across locations COD & RTO Fraud Protection
• Analyse COD order patterns to identify at-risk pin codes, customers, and order profiles
• Build and monitor fraud/risk scoring systems that flag orders before dispatch Vendor Intelligence for Procurement
• Analyse vendor-level performance — fill rate, quality, lead time, cost — to give procurement a clear, data-backed view of each vendor
• Help procurement decide when to de-risk away from a vendor versus when to push for greater utilization from one Customer Support Intelligence
• Build scorecards for CS quality and efficiency across support channels
• Identify automation opportunities, including voice agents, and monitor cancellation drivers and reduction levers AI & Algorithmic Products for Supply Chain
• Partner with product and engineering to scope and prototype algorithmic tools that automate fulfilment, routing, and cancellation-related decisions
• Push prototypes from spreadsheet logic to production-ready tools where the impact justifies it Own Supply Chain & Ops Reporting
• Be the single go-to person for all supply chain and operations reporting — fulfilment, logistics, warehouse, inventory, and CS metrics
• Build and maintain the dashboards and MIS that warehouse, logistics, CS, and production teams rely on day-to-day
• Make sure every function has one consistent, trusted source of truth for its numbers instead of everyone pulling their own Proactive Monitoring & Early-Warning
• Closely monitor supply chain and ops KPIs so you're the first to know when something breaks — a fulfilment delay, a courier SLA slip, a spike in cancellations or RTO
• Build early-warning indicators that catch a problem before it snowballs into a stakeholder escalation
• Flag anomalies proactively and get the right team looking at it immediately, rather than waiting to be asked Track Projects Through to Impact
• For every recommendation you drive, define the baseline, target KPI, owner, and timeline upfront
• Follow through post-implementation to confirm whether the change actually moved the metric, not just that it shipped
• Maintain visibility of open supply chain and ops projects — status, risk, and expected versus actual impact Cross-Functional Data Cuts
• Act as the single source of intelligence for warehouse, logistics, CS, production, and procurement teams
• Give each function the right data cuts, dashboards, and recommendations to act on Reporting & Stakeholder Communication
• Present supply chain health, fraud trends, vendor risk, and automation impact to founders and functional heads
