Position Summary Reporting functinaly to our Operations Manager in Madrid, we are seeking an Operations Technician based in France to ensure the operational readiness, commissioning, maintenance oversight and technical performance of our rapidly expanding network of 300+ Charging Points (CPs). This position is vital for maximizing uptime and optimizing the efficiency of our charging infrastructure, in alignment with the Asset Management strategy. Fluent professional English and French are mandatory for technical coordination with international manufacturers and the network management team. A good working knowledge of Spanish is highly valued to facilitate communication with partners and teams in Spanish-speaking countries. Key Responsibilities
- Operational Execution and Process Implementation: Implement and enforce the operational and maintenance procedures (SOPs) defined by the corporate Asset Management department to ensure consistent execution across the network. Contribute to the continuous improvement of these processes based on field feedback.
- Service Provider Management: Manage daily relationships with Technical Service Providers (TSPs) and third-party contractors to ensure strict adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and contractual obligations, targeting >99% network uptime.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor contractor performance against the KPIs and service quality standards established by Asset Management.
- Cost Control and Invoicing Oversight: Analyze O&M cost inputs and monitor technical expenses, reporting deviations. Oversee the O&M invoicing process for maintenance services and verify technical expenses related to electricity consumption.
- Commissioning and Initial Setup: Oversee and execute the commissioning of new AC and DC charging stations (fast/ultra-fast), including verification of electrical installation compliance and initial communication setup.
- Advanced Fault Diagnosis (Level 2/3): Act as the internal expert in diagnosing the root cause of hardware, communication and software failures, performing complex diagnostics and providing detailed guidance to the external maintenance provider.
- Level 2 Support: Provide Level 2 technical assistance to the Call Center for complex or unresolved failures, including direct interaction with users to troubleshoot and resolve issues.This position may be required to participate in an on-call rotation in the future, in accordance with company policy and applicable French regulations. On-call periods will be compensated.
- Maintenance Oversight and Participation:
- Supervise the quality of work performed by the external maintenance company (preventive and corrective).
- Perform key preventive maintenance tasks when required, and carry out urgent corrective interventions or those requiring specialized internal knowledge.
- Platform Management (CSMS/OCPP): Use the Charging Station Management System (CSMS) and the OCPP protocol to remotely diagnose communication failures and perform network management tasks (e.g., firmware updates).
- Project and Contractor Coordination: Track ongoing installations and repairs, working with contractors and suppliers to ensure projects meet technical specifications and French regulatory standards (e.g., IRVE,
Nf C
15-100).
- Documentation and Reporting: Create and maintain detailed technical documentation and intervention reports, and contribute to the creation of SOPs. Language Requirements
- English – Full professional fluency (C1/C2) – Mandatory: daily technical communication with equipment manufacturers (HW/SW), technical documentation management and international product training. First unterviews will be carried out in English
- French – Professional fluency (B2/C1 or above) – Mandatory: communication with local installers and service providers in France, and daily operational management.
- Spanish – Intermediate (B1 or above) – Highly valued: collaboration on projects and support with partners or teams in Spanish-speaking regions. Key Skills
- Field Work: Ability to work autonomously in remote locations and manage time effectively to maximize CP availability.
- Safety: Strict adherence to electrical safety standards and company policies during all interventions.
- Operational Management: Proven ability to manage vendors, contractors and project schedules in a fast-paced environment.
- Cost Control: Understanding of technical expenditure control and monitoring within maintenance operations.
- Systems: Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) is highly valued. Technical Experience and Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of proven experience in maintenance, operational management and diagnosis of electrical/telecom equipment, preferably in the e-mobility sector. Experience managing a large CP network is a strong advantage.
- Education: Technical degree (BTS, BUT/DUT) or engineering degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Automation or a related field.
- Electrical Knowledge: Ability to interpret electrical schematics and single-line diagrams to diagnose faults in high- and low-voltage installations. Theoretical and practical knowledge of AC and

- Communication Protocols: Experience with or strong knowledge of OCPP for remote management. Proven ability to diagnose network and communication failures (Ethernet, 4G/LTE) on embedded hardware.
- Certifications: French electrical safety authorizations (habilitations électriques). Ce poste est essentiel pour maximiser la disponibilité et optimiser l'efficacité de nos infrastructures de recharge, en cohérence avec la stratégie de l'Asset Management. La maîtrise professionnelle de l'anglais et du français est indispensable pour la coordination technique avec les fabricants internationaux et l'équipe de gestion du réseau. Une bonne connaissance de l'espagnol est très appréciée pour faciliter les échanges avec des partenaires ou des équipes hispanophones. Missions principales
- Exécution opérationnelle et mise en œuvre des processus : appliquer et faire respecter les procédures d'exploitation et de maintenance (SOP) définies par le département Asset Management du groupe, afin de garantir une exécution homogène sur l'ensemble du réseau. Contribuer à l'amélioration continue de ces processus à partir des retours terrain.
- Pilotage des prestataires : gérer au quotidien la relation avec les prestataires de services techniques (TSP) et les sous-traitants, en veillant au strict respect des niveaux de service (SLA) et des engagements contractuels, avec un objectif de disponibilité du réseau supérieur à 99 %.
- Suivi de la performance : suivre la performance des sous-traitants au regard des KPI et des standards de qualité de service définis par l'Asset Management.
- Maîtrise des coûts et contrôle de la facturation : analyser les coûts d'exploitation et de maintenance (O&M), suivre les dépenses techniques et signaler les écarts. Superviser le processus de facturation des prestations de maintenance et vérifier les dépenses techniques liées à la consommation d'électricité.
- Mise en service et paramétrage initial : superviser et réaliser la mise en service des nouvelles bornes AC et DC (rapides/ultra-rapides), y compris la vérification de la conformité des installations électriques et la configuration initiale de la communication.
