Job Description Overview: Marketing Manager, reporting to Marketing Director, will be responsible for driving Visa Taiwan's client marketing, merchant partnership, sponsorship, and strategic marketing initiatives. The role requires strong project management, stakeholder management, and execution capabilities to collaborate with issuers, merchants, agencies, strategic partners, and internal cross-functional teams to deliver impactful business and brand outcomes. Key Responsibilities: Client Marketing, Partnerships & Campaign Execution:
- Lead the planning and execution of client marketing initiatives in collaboration with issuer partners and internal stakeholders.
- Develop and execute co-marketing programs with merchant partners across travel, eCommerce, entertainment, retail, and other strategic sectors.
- Support Visa's strategic partnership and sponsorship initiatives, including partner activations, hospitality programs, events, and integrated marketing campaigns.
- Identify and drive partnership opportunities that support business objectives and enhance Visa's value proposition for clients and cardholders.
- Manage end-to-end campaign execution from planning, agency briefing, production, implementation, stakeholder alignment, to post-campaign evaluation.
- Collaborate closely with issuer partners, merchants, agencies, tourism organizations, sponsors, and strategic partners to ensure successful program delivery.
- Work closely with regional teams on partnership opportunities, sponsorship activations, campaign measurement, and best-practice sharing.
- Ensure all marketing materials comply with Visa brand guidelines and approval requirements.
- Serve as a key point of contact for client marketing and partnership-related inquiries and project coordination. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Partner closely with Sales, Product, VCA, Finance, Legal, and Corporate Communications teams to deliver marketing programs.
- Coordinate with Asia Pacific teams on regional campaigns, best practice sharing, sponsorship activations, and strategic initiatives.
- Build strong relationships with external agencies, vendors, merchants, and partner organizations to ensure seamless execution. Budget & Marketing Operations:
- Manage campaign budgets, forecasts, accruals, invoice processing, and spend tracking.
- Support contract management, procurement processes, and vendor negotiations.
- Ensure compliance with Visa marketing guidelines, legal requirements, and internal approval processes.
- Maintain complete and accurate project documentation, file management, and audit readiness.
- Monitor project timelines and deliverables to ensure initiatives are completed on time and within budget. Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager. Qualifications
- Minimum 8 year marketing experience , preferably from FMCG, technology, retail or banking sectors.
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA is a plus.
- A team player , always with can-do attitude, collaborative and flexible.
- Proven track record and competence on marketing campaign planning and execution, covering ATL and BTL scope.
- Abundant experience of digital and social media campaign planning, operation/maintaining and monitoring.
- Detailed oriented in terms of time management, budgeting and data analysis.
- Great coordination skills with external, internal stakeholders including agencies, merchants in both country and regional levels.
- Sense of ownership and being proactive.
- Strong business sense and understanding of marketing process.
