Pay $27.63 - $33.76 / hour, depending on experience and qualifications Plus $2.00 / hour shift premium for 3rd shift hours Schedule 3rd Shift (Sunday – Thursday, 10:00 p.m. – 6:30 a.m.) Clock out for lunch, other days and hours as needed On-site Location Plant 3 555 McKee Drive, Gentry AR 72734 Job Summary McKee Foods is seeking a Packaging Mechanic to join our Maintenance team.
- Perform preventive maintenance and general repairs on all process equipment
- Set up and change over packaging equipment as required
- Diagnose and resolve equipment failures in a multi-skilled environment
- Rebuild equipment and components routinely to ensure reliability
- Modify and enhance equipment performance as needed
- Provide technical assistance to production teams
- Maintain detailed maintenance records and communicate effectively with team members
- Operate all necessary tools, vehicles, and computers for troubleshooting and repair tasks
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the maintenance shop and toolbox
- Participate in training programs to improve technical skills
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience maintaining automated industrial equipment or equivalent technical training
- Strong knowledge of electrical and electronic controls
- Demonstrated commitment to safety and product quality
- Above-average mechanical, electrical, and electronic aptitude
- Self-motivated, creative, and team-oriented with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and maintain a clean, organized work area
- Proficient in PC usage Preferred Qualifications
- 4 years of experience in general industrial maintenance
- 1 year of experience with metal fabrication
- Experience in installing automated equipment Benefits
