Summary This position is located at Army Athletics Association's Information Technology Division. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid. Area of Consideration The Area of Consideration for this vacancy announcement is for US Citizens and Non-Citizens residing within a 60-mile radius of West Point, NY. (Military Spouse Preference (MSP) and Involuntarily Separated Military Preference (ISMP) eligible candidates are included in the area of consideration.) Duties

• Under the lead of a full performance specialist, performs highly structured entry-level assignments in the installation, configuration, operation and maintenance of operating systems.
• Uses acceptable industry standards in performance of duties. Gathers and analyzes basic facts and draws conclusions. Communicates factual and procedural information clearly.
• Participates in the development of reports and briefings. Participates in-group projects. Applies IT operating system policies, standards and guidelines. Participates in the evaluation of new or enhanced operating systems.
• Assists in applying operating systems upgrades and fixes. Applies information security and information assurance policy, principles, and practices. Qualifications Resumes must be two pages (or less). Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position. A qualified candidate must possess the following: Experience, education and/or specialized training sufficient to demonstrate a basic IT knowledge and skill in applying:
• Software design principles and methods;
• Functionality and operability evaluation of the current operating environment; and
• Operating systems installation and configuration procedures. The experience and/or education/certification must be reflected on your resume and supporting documentation such as transcripts, degrees, diplomas, certifications, etc. must be uploaded at the time of application to be considered eligible for this position. In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified": Bachelor's Degree in a Computer or Technology related field. This education must be reflected on your resume and your degree/transcript uploaded at the time of application to be considered a highly preferred candidate.
