Description Foreman Tower Technician – Position Overview As a Foreman Tower Technician at STG Communications, you are responsible for the successful management and execution of all aspects of the job site. From leading the crew to ensuring safety, quality, and compliance with documentation standards, your role is central to maintaining the efficiency and professionalism of the team. You are both a field leader and a project manager, ensuring that all site objectives are met on time, safely, and to client expectations. Key Responsibilities

• Plan and assign daily work tasks, ensuring proper resource allocation and clear communication across the crew.
• Lead job site safety efforts, including daily tailgates, JSAs, and hazard mitigation.
• Oversee the execution of top-side and ground-level scopes, ensuring adherence to construction drawings and project specifications.
• Communicate expectations to Top Hands and Technicians for documentation, measurements, and deliverables.
• Manage all required site documentation including daily reports, time sheets, and closeout packages.
• Train and evaluate crew members, supporting technical development and team growth.
• Act as the primary on-site contact for customers, management, and safety personnel. Day-to-Day Activities
• Conduct morning safety meetings and assign tasks based on scope, priority, and personnel strengths.
• Review build plans and communicate job-specific expectations to Top Hands and Tower Technicians.
• Ensure site safety standards are followed at all times, correcting issues as needed.
• Monitor project progress, assist with troubleshooting, and jump in on tower or ground tasks as necessary.
• Communicate with project managers regarding schedule, material needs, scope changes, or concerns.
• Submit daily logs, verify all required documentation is completed, and ensure closeouts meet company and client standards.
• Promote a clean and organized work environment on-site, in vehicles, and in storage. Your leadership as a Foreman Tower Technician is vital to STG Communications' success. Your ability to balance technical skill, documentation accuracy, and team coordination ensures our field teams operate safely and efficiently while delivering exceptional results to our clients. Requirements
• Proven telecom construction experience with AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile line and antenna site work.
• Ability to lead, mentor, supervise, and train crew team members.
• Must have a valid driver's license and qualified to drive DOT vehicles.
• Strong understanding of telecommunications systems and tower infrastructure.
• Must have intermediate computer literacy skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Can lift up to 100 pounds.
• Work in all weather elements.
• Ability to travel at least 50% of the time.
• Ability to work weekends as needed.
• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
