Company : Chickmont Foods Ltd. Job Summary The Handyman would be responsible for building and ground maintenance which includes performing basic carpentry, plumbing, painting (wood, metal and wall) duties across the Production Plant. Job Responsibilities:
- Making repairs to dolleys
- Sorting of tools
- Upkeep of ladders
- Sharpening of knives and scissors
- Cleaning of insectocutors
- Cleaning of drains/ grease traps
- Inspection of wells
- Assisting with tyre changes
- Washing of trucks
- Pressure washing of specific areas- ie cafp/pad
- Basic repairs to roofing- flash band etc
- Changing of door; hinge removal, lock change
- Faucet and tap installations as well as repairs
- Assist Maintenance Technicians in their duties
- Basic masonry
- Use and care of workshop tools
- Change of plucker fingers
- Basic lubrication- use of grease gun
- Replacement of bathroom lights
- Scaffolding erection
- Upkeep of workshop
