Description: As a Community Solar Operations Analyst, you will play a key role in managing and optimizing operational processes across our community solar portfolio. Working closely with internal teams, utilities, program administrators, and solar development partners, you will support subscription management, reporting, financial operations, sales operations, and process improvement initiatives. This role combines analytical problem solving, operational execution, and cross-functional collaboration to help ensure scalable, efficient operations as we expand access to community solar across the country. Key Responsibilities:
- Subscription & Portfolio Management
- Own subscription fill levels across the community solar portfolio
- Ensure subscription and project data remain accurate and aligned across utility, program administrator, and internal systems
- Coordinate with utilities and program administrators to support subscription management activities
- Proactively monitor utility files, identify discrepancies, and drive issue resolution
- Monitor and manage subscriber churn and identify trends impacting portfolio performance
- Reporting & Financial Operations
- Prepare and distribute financial, operational, and project performance reports
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting to program administrators
- Generate invoices for project management and related fees and partner with Billing to support payment tracking and reconciliation
- Operational Excellence & Process Improvement
- Continuously assess processes to identify opportunities to improve efficiency, scalability, and stakeholder experience
- Leverage AI, automation, and technology solutions to develop and implement process improvements and new operational capabilities
- Provide actionable feedback to our Product team to improve systems and services
- Conduct research on new markets, regulatory developments, and industry trends
- Sales Operations
- Perform onboarding activities and quality assurance reviews of new subscriber enrollments
- Administer commission tracking and payment processes
- Track and analyze sales performance across markets and channels
- Develop and update sales training resources and tools as needed
- Subscriber Experience & Billing Support
- Collaborate closely with Billing and Solutions Center teams to resolve subscriber issues
- Manage non-payment processes and support strong collection performance
- Develop subscriber communications related to billing, project updates, and account changes
- Maintain training materials and process documentation for customer support teams as needed Required Skills:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Operations, Data Analytics, Energy Systems, or equivalent experience.
- Energy or solar industry experience a plus, 3+ years of full-time work experience required.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other data analysis, reporting, and business tools required, VBA proficiency preferred.
- Proficiency with
Ms SQL
querying is required, and a solid understanding of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and tools is preferred.
- Knowledge of community solar programs, utility operations, energy markets, and applicable regulatory frameworks is a plus. Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis. Unfortunately, a current or future need for sponsorship is not supported or available for this position. Salary Range: $61,050.00 - $97,680.00 *This range reflects base pay only. Incentive earnings, like commissions or bonuses, are not included.
