- UNIQLO Management Candidate (UMC) Program We are seeking passionate, ambitious individuals driven to achieve our mission and lead the future of retail. The UMC Program is your launchpad to becoming a global business leader. Through a structured, hands-on development pathway, you will fast-track your leadership skills, manage teams, drive business performance, and make a tangible impact. Regardless of your academic background, you will build core management capabilities directly on the sales floor. These foundational skills open doors to expansive global career paths, including headquarters assignments and international relocation. Top-performing candidates will be invited to participate in an exclusive pre-boarding program at our Global Headquarters in Japan (January or July 2027) prior to official onboarding. It All Starts With Store Management At UNIQLO, the sales floor is the heart of our business—where we directly connect with customer needs, tackle real-time challenges, and drive immediate execution . From Day 1, you will immerse yourself in store operations through a structured 12-month Retail Management Training Program: Stage 1
- Self-Leadership & Operational Foundations Master the core business operations from the ground up, adopting a customer-first mindset and building operational excellence. Stage 2: People Coaching & Product Focus Transition from self
- managing to guiding others and driving high-volume sales with Plan-Do-See sales planning in business figure analysis Stage 3: Shift Leadership & Commercial Execution Step up as a timely leader (Person-In-Charge for designated time slots ) who takes ownership of team performance and weekly sales strategies and leading floor teams. Stage 4: Store Business Management Operate with the mindset of a business owner, driving full store growth and team development . Lead entire store operations as Day/Week Person-In-Charge , managing talent allocation, staffing schedules, and P&L financial analysis. Who We Are Looking For
- Education & Experience: Degree holder in any discipline with fewer than 2 years of full-time work experience.

- Language Proficiency: Excellent communication skills in English and Cantonese. Recruitment Timeline Track A: Early Engagement Track (Application Deadline: October 31, 2026) Note for t his track :
- D esigned for candidates who want an accelerated head start and early exposure to UNIQLO's global operations ;
- R equired pre-onboarding milestones. C andidates are expected to complete a store attachment in Hong Kong (approx. 100 hours) * prior to offer acceptance ;
- Selected candidates will then participate in an intensive pre-boarding program (approx. 14–20 days) * in Tokyo, Japan, which includes a visit to the global headquarters and direct sessions with our global business leaders . Track B 1 : Standard Track — March Intake (Application Deadline: November 30, 2026) Track B 2 : Standard Track — July Intake (Application Deadline: April 30, 2027) * Exact hour and duration requirements will be finalized and announced during later selection stages.
