Description Looking for a fun and rewarding opportunity to volunteer? Do you enjoy working with kids, leading games and activities, and making a positive impact in your community? Join the Kids Club at the Boys & Girls Club of Worcester located at 180 Constitution Avenue, (Great Brook Valley) Worcester, MA and spend your afternoons helping children learn, grow, and have fun in a safe and engaging environment! This is a fantastic opportunity for college students, aspiring teachers, education majors, youth development professionals, retirees, or anyone looking for meaningful part-time work. It's an exciting time at our Great Brook Valley Kids Club! We are in the midst of a capital campaign to rebuild the club to include a two story building with a pool and the ability to serve over 500 kids a day! Facility Schedule: Monday-Friday, 2:00 PM-6:00 PM Why You'll Love Working Here

  • Closed for all major holidays What You'll Do As a volunteer, you'll help create exciting after-school experiences for children ages 5-13 by:
  • Leading and assisting with games, sports, arts & crafts, STEM projects, homework help, and enrichment activities
  • Building positive relationships with children and families
  • Encouraging participation, teamwork, and personal growth
  • Helping create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment
  • Supporting educational and recreational programming No two days are the same, and every day is an opportunity to inspire a child! Requirements What We're Looking For
  • Positive attitude, dependability, and enthusiasm for working with children
  • Must be at least 18 years old (per EEC regulations)
  • Ability to pass a CORI, national background check, and EEC fingerprinting requirements Physical Requirements
  • Comfortable standing, walking, and actively engaging with children for extended periods
