- Associate you will focus on providing strategic advice and diligence support across mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures, including review of financial information tied to quality of earnings, assets, cash flows, and other key deal issues within our Deals practice. As an Associate you will focus on learning and contributing through project tasks, adapt to a variety of client situations, and build your knowledge by asking questions, taking ownership, and delivering dependable work in a fast-paced environment. In this role at PwC Acceleration Center Kolkata, you will support teams as they assess transaction data, identify patterns in financial performance, and help deliver insights that inform client decisions across deal activity. Responsibilities
- Analyzing financial statements, earnings quality, cash flows, and working capital trends to identify deal issues and value drivers
- Supporting due diligence procedures for mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures through review of financial information and supporting schedules
- Gathering data from management presentations, data rooms, and internal sources to help assess business performance and transaction risks
- Preparing analysis of historical financial results, forecast assumptions, and key balance sheet accounts
- Developing clear workpapers and summaries that capture findings for senior review
- Applying financial modeling, business valuation, and corporate finance concepts to transaction support tasks
- Collaborating with team members across deal phases while adapting to changing client needs and transaction timelines
- Building commercial awareness through research on industry trends, transaction dynamics, and financial reporting matters What You Must Have CA with 1+ year of experience post CA What Sets You Apart
