Role Description: This role oversees the physical operations and upkeep across multiple statewide campuses. Based out of the Support team, this full-time role (40 hours/week) combines hands-on technical maintenance with high-level administrative management to keep church environments clean, functional, and safe. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Steward facilities of NewSpring Church wisely, using teamwork and clear vision, in a way that promotes functional, clean, and safe environments.
  • Travel to campuses across the state to perform necessary planned, preventive & predictive maintenance tasks.
  • Respond to Maintenance Requests within 48 hours and remedy facility issues in a timely manner.
  • Respond to unexpected circumstances with a positive attitude and positive posture.
  • Manage and steward appropriate budgets for campuses within the Regional Facility Maintenance Director oversight.
  • Negotiate contractor contracts and be the primary point of contact for contractors at campuses within the Regional Facility Maintenance Director oversight.
  • Communicate regularly with Campus Pastor about ongoing maintenance plans or facility issues.
  • Train campus staff on facility improvements and best practices.
  • When called upon by the staff and approved by the supervisor, employee should willingly perform such tasks which might not be considered part of the normal position description.
  • Adhere to and encompass the qualities and characteristics required of NewSpring Church staff members, as defined by the Policies and Procedures Handbook. Additional Duties/Responsibilities within the Facilities Team:
  • There may be times that you will be asked to work outside the normal 40 hr/wk schedule. Role Requirements:
  • This role is full time 40 hours per week.
  • A high school diploma is required.
  • This role adheres to a standard schedule, knowing it may fluctuate at times & based on certain needs. Standard schedule is:
  • Sunday: 8:15am
  • 1pm, plus 3 remote hours
  • Monday: 9am
  • 5pm
  • Tuesday: 9am
  • 5pm
  • Wednesday: 9am
  • 5pm
  • Thursday: 9am
  • 5pm
