Description Join our dedicated Camp Red Cedar team as a Direct Support Professional (DSP) and make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities. - Assist individuals with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and household chores
- Support clients in developing independence and life skills through personalized training and encouragement
- Monitor and document clients’ progress, behaviors, and health status accurately
- Implement individualized care plans in collaboration with team members and family members
- Promote a safe, respectful, and positive environment for clients at all times
- Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, fostering social engagement and community participation
- Follow all safety protocols and adhere to agency policies and procedures Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience in caregiving or human services preferred
- Compassionate, patient, and respectful attitude towards individuals with diverse needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation may be required
