Department: 85032 Wake Forest University Health Sciences

  • Academic Biostatistics and Data Science Status: Full time Benefits Eligible: Yes Hou rs Per Week: 40 Schedule Details/Additional Information: 40 hours per week Hybrid Pay Range: $35.50 - $53.25 Major Responsibilities
  • Collaborates with biomedical investigators and assist in developing objectives, designing sampling, randomization and data collection procedures to achieve study objectives.
  • Designs tables and statistical procedures for specific research studies.
  • Collaborates with clinic and other personnel, including analyst/programmers in monitoring and assessing data quality.
  • Writes statistical computer programs and reviews computer output for consistency and quality.
  • Analyzes data and prepares tables for interim and final reports.
  • Writes the results section of the reports or publications.
  • Performs other related duties incidental to the work described herein.

Minimum Job Requirements

Education Master's degree in Biostatistics, Statistics, or Mathematics, or related area Certification / Registration / License n/a Work Experience Three years' experience working in a biomedical environment. Experience in analyzing data using statistical package(s). Knowledge / Skills / Abilities Ability to organize data and communicate statistical concepts to non-statisticians Ability to write statistical considerations for grant proposals
