Java Microservices Engineers Department: Enterprise Software Engineering Experience Required: 4 to 8 Years Compensation (Market Standard): INR 2,200,000 to 3,500,000 Per Annum (CTC) Locations: Bangalore / Pune / Hybrid / Remote-flexible across India Role Overview & Key Responsibilities We are seeking an experienced Java Microservices Engineer to design, build, and maintain enterprise-grade distributed backend systems. In this role, you will develop high-throughput, secure, and resilient microservices using the Spring Boot ecosystem, integrating traditional enterprise platforms with modern AI-driven components and micro-architectures. Microservices Design: Architect and develop scalable, decoupled microservices using Java and Spring Boot that adhere to industry best practices. API Integration: Build and secure high-performance REST and GraphQL APIs for seamless communication across internal services and external AI endpoints. Performance & Resilience: Implement fault tolerance, circuit breaking, rate limiting, and distributed tracing to ensure high availability under peak loads. Database Management: Design efficient database schemas, manage transaction boundaries, and optimize query performance across SQL and NoSQL datastores. DevOps & Containerization: Containerize applications using Docker, orchestrate deployments using Kubernetes, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines. Required Skills & Experience Technical Stack: 4 to 8 years of enterprise software engineering experience with deep expertise in Java (Java 11/17+), Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud. Distributed Systems: Proven experience designing distributed systems, message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ), and caching layers (Redis). Engineering Standards: Strong focus on automated testing (JUnit/Mockito), code quality metrics, security compliance, and design patterns. Collaborative Mindset: Excellent teamwork and communication skills with experience working in agile, cross-functional engineering squads.
