Program Overview Brown Advisory is seeking motivated, team-oriented students to join us for an 8-week, on-site Summer Analyst Programme based in our London office from 14th June through 6th August 2027. The programme is designed to provide broad exposure to the investment management industry and the opportunity to learn from colleagues across the firm. Our immersive programme is designed to build your analytical, strategic, and communication skills through global orientation, dedicated training, and meaningful project work. Throughout the summer, you’ll gain exposure to a variety of teams, including Equity Research, Private Client, Sustainability, Fixed Income, Institutional Sales, Compliance, and Legal. By collaborating with colleagues across the firm, you’ll develop a holistic understanding of how an investment management firm operates and delivers long-term value to clients. You’ll also have opportunities to engage with senior management, attend and present in meetings, and build relationships with colleagues and fellow Summer Analysts through a variety of networking and social events. • Analyze companies and securities across various end markets and geographies. This role is focused heavily on research and analysis.
• Provide written research, financial statements and valuation analysis.
• Write credit memos and present investment recommendations to members of the investment research committee and the wider firm.
• Build financial models for investable companies.
• Attend earnings calls; utilize industry specific data in support of company coverage; review business and trade publications, annual reports and financial filings. Applicant Requirements:
• Currently studying for a bachelor’s degree (in their penultimate year) or master’s degree.
• Analytical and logical thinker, comfortable working with numbers.
• Eager to ask questions, admit mistakes, and learn new things.
• Proactive, reliable and considerate with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Organized with good attention to detail.
