- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, on-site
- Start date : September 30, 2026 About the role Your job is to keep hiring actions, performance appraisals, records and routine HR inquiries organized and moving so that Government staff can focus on decisions. What you'll do
- Track recruitment and hiring actions, billet updates and performance appraisal milestones in FedHR, USAStaffing and ePerformance
- Build and maintain trackers, status reports and dashboards in Excel, SharePoint and Power BI
- Manage the Civilian Resource Coordinator's SharePoint site and digital records so job aids, templates and files stay current and easy to find
- Answer routine HR questions from base leadership using approved guidance, and route policy or employee relations issues to the right Government official
- Coordinate meetings, trainings and briefings across bases over Teams and email, and draft correspondence, agendas and briefing materials
- Prepare weekly activity reports and recurring compliance reports for Government review Required
- An associate's degree or a bachelor's degree and 2+ years of experience, or 5+ years of experience, in HR support, administrative support, business administration or program analysis
- Strong skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams and OneDrive
- Clear writing and the ability to coordinate with people at many locations and levels of leadership
- Ability to pass a Tier 1 federal background investigation and obtain a Common Access Card (CAC)
- Ability to start on-site in Norfolk on September 30, 2026 Preferred
- Hands-on experience with FedHR, USAStaffing or ePerformance
- Experience supporting federal civilian, military or Coast Guard personnel programs
- Experience maintaining SharePoint sites or building Power BI reports
