- Responsible for obtaining quality blood specimens by venipuncture and microtechniques with the least possible discomfort. The phlebotomist serves as the laboratory’s representative to the patient and must deliver care in a positive and caring manner.
- Job Description Purpose Job Description Purpose High School Diploma or GED is required. No previous experience is required, but previous experience in phlebotomy techniques preferred.
