Children’s Cook (Full-Time) 📍 Fremont, OH 💰 $13–$17/hour (based on experience) Angie’s Angels Child Development is seeking a full-time Children’s Cook to prepare nutritious meals for children in our childcare center. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys cooking in a structured environment, values consistency, and takes pride in preparing healthy meals for children. This position follows a consistent daytime schedule , typically during weekday hours. 🍎 About the Role Our Children’s Cook plays a key role in supporting the daily operations of our center by ensuring meals are prepared safely, on time, and in accordance with CACFP guidelines . You will work independently in the kitchen while collaborating with leadership to keep food service running smoothly. 🍽️ Core Responsibilities As the Children’s Cook, you will:

  • Prepare and serve meals and snacks for children daily
  • Follow CACFP standards and guidelines
  • Prepare food in large quantities while maintaining quality and portion control
  • Verify correct portion sizes for age groups
  • Ensure proper labeling, storage, and rotation of food and supplies
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen
  • Assist with basic food purchasing and inventory
  • Follow all health, safety, and licensing regulations 🎓 Qualifications Required:
  • At least 18 years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to follow food safety guidelines and instructions Preferred (not required):
  • Previous cooking or food service experience
  • Experience cooking for groups, schools, or childcare centers
