- Perform all major repairs to diesel powered industrial equipment.
- Repair and maintain powered industrial equipment.
- Perform all major repairs requiring gas and arc welding.
- Other duties as required. What You Bring with You (Qualifications):
- High School diploma.
- 6 years' experience including a minimum of 2 years' experience with powered industrial equipment.
- Gas and arc welding training course with satisfactory completion.
- Note that formal schooling may be counted to satisfy up to 2 years of the fleet maintenance experience requirement; and up to 50% of the other category requirements.
- Powered (e.g. electric, liquid propane gas (l.p.g.)) material handling equipment (major mechanical, electrical diagnostics, and repairs): 1 year
- Hydraulic systems (major repairs): 1 year
- Welding and fabrication (training course
- satisfactory completion): 1 year
